Saints make the trip up to Lancashire to take on Blackburn Rovers in the Barclays Women’s Championship at Ewood Park.
Going into the international break in third place with just goal difference separating Marieanne Spacey-Cale’s side and second-placed London City Lionesses, Saints will be keen to pick up all three points.
Rovers currently sit in sixth place, but were building momentum before the break, securing two wins, two draws and a loss in their last five, most notably keeping out an on-form London City Lionesses in order to draw 0-0 at Pride Park.
Just the second Women’s game to be played at Ewood Park this season, Gemma Donnelly’s side will be hoping to halt Saints’ unbeaten league run in front of a home crowd.

MANAGER’S NOTES
“Having just come out of the international break, it’s been important to get back to training and look to build momentum this week.”
“Blackburn have picked up some strong results recently, and that, as well as the occasion of playing at Ewood Park, will give them confidence going into this tie.”
“We’ve been playing and developing week-in, week-out and now we just need to keep up that level to ensure we get the results we’re hoping for.”
PLAYER TO WATCH
A threat in attack and an ever-present figure for Rovers, Saffron Jordan will be important to keep at bay.
