Manchester United will be hoping to extend their lead at the top of the Barclays Women’s Super League table when Leicester City are the visitors to the Leigh Sports Village on Sunday.

The Red Devils are currently one point ahead of Chelsea at the league summit, however, Marc Skinner’s side could increase that narrow advantage with The Blues in FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup final action this weekend.

Manchester United go into their latest fixture with no fresh injury concerns. Norwegian international midfielder Lisa Naalsund is available for selection after completing a period of rebuilding her fitness. Canadian international full-back Jayde Riviere is the only absentee with the player still around three weeks away from being in contention to make her debut.

Leicester City boss Willie Kirk has confirmed that Australian international forward Remy Siemsen is fit for the trip to Leigh. The Foxes remain without the services of Abbie McManus, Jess Sigsworth, Lachante Paul and Shannon O’Brien while Carrie Jones is ineligible to play against her parent club.

The Barclays Women’s Super League fixture between Manchester United and Leicester City is scheduled to kick-off at 12.30pm on Sunday afternoon. Tickets remain on-sale and are available to purchase by clicking here.
