Pochettino has been without a job since leaving PSG at the end of last season, and the report claims that some at CHELSEA feel he should replace Potter due to the Blues’ form this campaign.

“I think Todd Boehly will give Graham Potter a chance to work with his own players,” McAvennie told Football Insider.

“None of them are his players and it’d be strange to sack him for someone else’s players.

“They need a clear-out in the summer, but I think Potter can turn it around at Chelsea.

“Most other clubs would’ve sacked him by now.

“But Boehly needs to give him a couple of windows, not only to build his own squad but to offload players that don’t want to be there.

“There are too many players at Chelsea that aren’t concerned about not playing.“
