Wayne Rooney has not been shy to the spotlight. Facing numerous scandals, being one of football’s most prolific stars, and launching his coaching career Wayne Rooney has been nothing short of entertaining. For the first time we take a closer look at Rooney’s family and personal life and his iconic playing career. However, what this documentary lacks is his return to Everton and Derby County which kind of short changes his career and his personal life after the fact. While we get to see how he grew into one of the greatest players to ever hit the pitch, you’ll feel a little short-changed in the most recent parts of his football history. Definitely a great watch, but it does miss out on how amazingly iconic of a player that he is.
