Marcus believes the momentum gained from some all-round, connected efforts in big matches this season has been a key factor in building that camaraderie.
“We’ve had some top performances and managed to build some momentum,” said the striker.
“It’s good to have that team spirit, we’ve had some really tough games as well.
“Even coming back and getting a draw against Chelsea, they scored late on and we managed to get something out of the game rather than nothing.
“I think moments like that, they’re massive and it can do massive things for you, not only now, but throughout the season.”
