Manchester United have reportedly placed emphasis on signing Napoli forward Victor Osimhen in the summer transfer window.
According to the Manchester Evening News, the Red Devils are currently making a list of potential forward targets, and Osimhen is viewed as a possible acquisition.
The report goes on to claim that it would be virtually impossible for the 20t-time English champions to sign the 23-year-old in January, but they are prepared to spend big next summer.
The Nigeria international has once again been one of Napoli’s standout performers in an impressive season, contributing nine goals and three assists in 13 appearances in all competitions.
He has scored eight goals and registered three assists in 10 top flight outings, in addition to netting one goal in the Champions League.
The frontman has now contributed 37 goals and 12 assists in 75 appearances in all competitions for Partenopei since making the move from Lille in September 2020.
Osimhen has a contract in Naples until June 2025.
