
Zamalek head coach Jesualdo Ferreira has released his 21-man squad to face Pyramids on matchday 20 of the Egyptian Premier League.
Zamalek will face Pyramids in a huge six-pointer. Pyramids have their eyes set on equalling Al Ahly’s points tally at the summit of the league with three games in hand for the Red Devils while Zamalek seek to close the gap on Ittihad of Alexandria in fourth.
The White Knights managed to get back to winning ways after beating Smouha 3-1 on matchday 19 which was their second league victory in 2023.
The two sides met two times this season so far, with Zamalek winning 1-0 in the league, while Pyramids claimed a penalty shootout victory in the cup.
Ferreira’s squad witnessed the presence of Zamalek’s January signings, Mahmoud Shabana, Ahmed Belhadj and Nasser Mansi, as well as the return of Ahmed Fattouh and Moustafa Shalaby to the squad.
Meanwhile, Shikabala, Omar Gaber, Abdallah Gomaa, and Samson Akinyoola were left out.
