Youth and Sports Minister Mustapha Ussif has promised to consider revising the use of e-ticketing for Ghana Premier League games.

He said after the President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku, raised concerns over the poor fan attendance at local games, blaming it on the implementation of the e-ticketing system.

During a meeting with the Sports Minister on Wednesday, Okraku requested that the government either runs the e-ticketing system concurrently with the manual system or reconsider its deployment for domestic matches.

In response, Minister Ussif assured Okraku that he would take the matter up with the relevant authorities and provide feedback in due course. He emphasized that the request was “doable” and that the government would explore all options to boost fan attendance at local games.

‘’I can assure you that your plea is well noted. I will look into it with the relevant bodies and come back to you in due course but you can be rest assured that it is doable,” Hon. Mustapha Ussif said.
