England-based Ghana defender, Daniel Amartey has made a cash donation of GHS10,000 to the family of Christian Atsu.
The Leicester City defender played with the late Black Stars forward during his days in the national team.
Hit by news of the passing of Christian Atsu, Daniel Amartey has been mourning like every Ghanaian in the last few weeks.
Today, the player has donated Ghc10,000 and 50 cartons of water to Atsu’s family ahead of the One Week Observation.
The donation was made by former U-17 Star Awudu Issaka on behalf of the Leicester City Defender.
Awudu Issaka was accompanied by Black Stars Hairstylist “Abiba Locks” as they both signed the book of condolence.
As confirmed by footballghana already, the one-week observation of the demise of Christian Atsu will be held on March 4.
Meanwhile, the family is still in talks to settle on a date for the final funeral rites.
