Christian Pulisic could push for a move this January or next summer.
The 24-year-old has struggled to nail down a place in the starting lineup at Chelsea for the past two seasons.
Since his arrival from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2019, Pulisic has started only 53 games for the Blues in his three-and-a-half-year spell.
There has been plenty of rumours circling around his future with Leeds United among the potential clubs interested in the 24-year-old winger.
Manager Jesse Marsch admitted he would want to know the attacker even better in a latest interview.
Marsch said to The Athletic: “For the U.S. in this World Cup, that will be the big question: where are the goals coming from?
“Maybe the answer is a simple one: Pulisic. One of the most difficult things for me is I don’t know Christian well enough.
“With Christian, I don’t know him well enough, and I’ve said in the past that I would love to get to know him more because I can see that there’s so much potential there. But I often wonder how to tap into it, truly.“
