Despite the money moves Chelsea made in the last two transfer windows, the Blues are keen on signing more players come the next summer window.
Chelsea have once again been linked with moves for RB Leipzig’s Josko Gvardiol, according to reports.
According to The Times, the west London side have ‘renewed their interest’ in the 21-year-old defender.
Recall that Chelsea last summer during a discussion for a move for Gvardiol decided that his £70million asking price was too high.
However, the report revealed the EPL side are ready to chase the Croatian centre-back’s signature this summer.
Aside from this, there’s a £97million release clause in Gvardiol’s contract with RB Leipzig that doesn’t become active until 2024.
The defender who has been impressive for RB Leipzig is said to desire to play in the Premier League during his career.
It is yet to be seen if the Croatia star would consider a move to Stamford Bridge considering their current form.
