Chelsea owner Todd Boehly to work on January transfer


Chelsea‘s Todd Boehly is expected to splash a heavy amount of money in this January window. The Blues are hoping to be benefited from this transfer window. They will really need to up their game as they are really struggling this season. Chelsea had been one of the most spending clubs last season. The new signings are yet to impress the fans at Stamford Bridge. Todd Boehly, the new Chelsea owner is said to be working behind the scenes to push through new signing this transfer window.

Chelsea’s Todd Boehly to try and push through new signings

The Blues were the biggest Premier League spenders last summer and will be hoping to do the same this January window as well. The Blues are interested to sign Dynamo Moscow star midfielder Arsen Zakharyan this January. They looking to rebuild the team after they had an underwhelming season under Tuchel and now under Graham Potter. It has been deemed as one of the worse seasons for Chelsea to date. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Blues are also looking to sign Palmeiras teenager Endrick who have been making his name in South America. Many other European teams as Real Madrid and Barcelona have shown interest in the player.

Chelsea are also looking at Southampton’s midfielder Romeo Lavia as one of the names that have come up and is under Chelsea’s radar. As of now Chelsea currently stands in the eighth position in the Premier League after three consecutive defeats. They will be hoping to improve their position when they come back again after the World Cup.
