Chelsea currently have more injuries than any other Premier League club

According to a respected database, Chelsea currently have more injuries than any other Premier League club. The Pride of London examine how much this affected Blues form under Graham Potter.

If you’d have judged Potter’s early tenure at Stamford Bridge in mid to late October, the new Blues gaffer would have rated a lot higher than he eventually did come November. All in all, it has been a bittersweet start for the 47-year-old in west London after arriving from Brighton & Hove Albion.

Impressive Champions League progress contrasted with rapidly worsening Premier League form inevitably leads to criticism for any big six manager. And Chelsea are no different there. Especially on Twitter are some of the most unfair and unfounded comments made – at a minimum – with a section of the CFC faithful already turning on Potter.

Although, after Thomas Tuchel was abruptly sacked, a large part of the Blues fanbase was not ready to give another head coach a chance. This was kind of understandable considering the progress tuchel made, but there is no going back now so those supporters must face the music.

Yet, for the detractors of the current boss, there has been an undeniably negative factor in his and the side’s struggles of late: sidelined players. Those absentees are now impacting the team drastically. In fact, it is said by trusted source former physiotherapist and sports media personality, Ben Dinnery, that CFC are atop the English top-flight injury list.

The addition of up-and-coming striker Armando Broja to the number makes nine. They are N’Golo Kante, Ben Chilwell, Wesley Fofana, Reece James, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Raheem Sterling (illness, apparently), Carney Chukwuemeka and Ruben Loftus-Cheek. All information is gathered from

Bad news for Chelsea fans wanting Rafael Leao

I really think Leao would be such a fitting signing that would undoubtedly improve and strengthen the Chels’ starting XI. The AC Milan man is fearless when constantly advancing the ball in games of significance. Not to mention providing consistent and eye-catching numbers of Serie A and UCL goals and assists.

However, the Rossoneri star’s father, Antonio, hints that his son might perhaps reject the advances of the English outfit. Mr Leao also confirmed that the Italian giants are working to extend the Chelsea target’s stay at San Siro.
