Even after a summer full of change, Barcelona could be in for yet another busy transfer window once we approach the end of the season.

While Barça are expected to buy multiple players, there will be no shortage of departures either. In fact, one of the players who are facing an uncertain future at the club is Ansu Fati.

The young forward, who dons the number ten jersey, has fallen out of favour under Xavi Hernandez this season. Especially after his return from injury, the explosive attacker has never been the same, often struggling with form and consistency.

Fati’s struggles could be indicated by his numbers this season, with the player only racking up three league goals in 21 matches this term. Quite naturally, this has led to speculations over his future at the club, with a number of Premier League giants already interested in his services.

However, according to Ivan San Antonio (h/t Reshad Rahman), the Barcelona coaching staff has not lost faith in Ansu Fati just yet.

They still believe in the player and his potential to become an asset for the club in the years to come. Fati, after all, is indeed regarded as one of the most talented young players in Spanish football, with the forward boasting sensational speed, skill and dribbling prowess.

While he has not been able to fulfil his potential at Barça so far, there are hopes that he may soon rediscover his old groove and perform consistently at the highest level of football.

Barcelona, though, will not completely rule out the potential exit of Fati at the end of the season, as the attacker can generate a sizable sum, which in turn, could help the club fund moves for their top targets. A lot will depend on how Barça balance their books ahead of the new season.
