
Al Ahly beat Bahrain’s Al Nasser 3-0 in the final to claim the Arab Volleyball Club Championship at Cairo Stadium Hall.
The title is Al Ahly’s eighth in the competition as they surpass Tunisia’s CS Sfaxien to become the most successful team in the competition.
The Red Devils won the tournament without losing a single set throughout the whole competition including victories against Masafi of Iraq UAE’s Bani Yas, Yemen’s Khaybal, Oman’s Seeb.

Al Ahly managed to edge past their Bahraini opponents in the first set 25-21, before dominating the next two sets which was won by the Egyptians 25-10 and 25-19 respectively.
Al Ahly’s veteran Ahmed Salah claimed his seventh Arab Club Championship title in the competition, and his sixth with Red Devils becoming the most successful player in the history of the competition.
Salah has managed to win 36 titles with the Red Devils so far as one of the most crowned players in the history of Egyptian Volleyball, while Abdel-Rahman Abdel-Salah claimed his 35th title with Al Ahly.
