PSG defender Achraf Hakimi has just been indicted following accusations of rape against him.
According to information from AFP, who inquired with the Nanterre prosecutor’s office, PSG player Achraf Hakimi has just been indicted after the rape charges against him.
PSG aware of the indictment
The side was however present this Friday at Camp des Loges to participate in the training session of his team. PSG was aware of his indictment. The club plans to communicate on the subject in the afternoon.
Hakimi was heard Thursday by investigators from the Hauts-de-Seine Territorial Security, then indicted by an investigating judge and placed under judicial control.
Hakimi in a mess
As a reminder, a young woman (24 years old) went last Sunday to the police station in Nogent-sur-Marne (Val-de-Marne) declaring that she had been raped by the Moroccan side. She did not file a complaint but the police station opened an investigation, before the Nanterre prosecutor’s office took up the case.
The facts date back to Saturday, February 25. The young woman explained that she met the player via the Instagram social network on January 16. The two began to discuss, and it was on February 25, at night, that she went to the player’s home in Boulogne-Billancourt (Hauts-de-Seine), with a VTC ordered by Hakimi. The young woman indicates that the Moroccan international kissed her mouth and chest under her clothes, when she said no to him. She adds that he performed a digital penetration for a few seconds, even though she had refused. She finally says that she then pushed him away with her foot, before sending an SMS to a friend who came to pick her up.
On Hakimi’s side, only his lawyer spoke. She said that “the accusations are false”, and that her client is “calm and is at the disposal of justice”.
